- Profile & activity data: Task submissions, earnings history, streak counts, spin results, and referral relationships.
- Payment information: Withdrawal method details (e.g., wallet addresses or payment account identifiers) you provide. We do not store full card numbers.
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, timestamps, and IP addresses for security and fraud prevention.
- Communications: Support ticket messages and any correspondence you send us.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the MicroTasker platform.
- Process task completions, approve withdrawals, and credit earnings to your wallet.
- Send transactional emails (email verification, withdrawal confirmations, task updates).
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations.

- Send optional platform updates and promotional messages (you may opt out at any time).

4. Cookies & Tracking
MicroTasker uses session cookies to keep you logged in and preference cookies to remember your settings. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function correctly without them.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we retain anonymised transaction records for up to 7 years for financial compliance purposes. Support ticket data is retained for 2 years.
6. Security
All passwords are stored using strong cryptographic hashing (scrypt). Data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Access to production databases is restricted to authorised personnel only. While we take security seriously, no system is 100% impenetrable — please use a strong, unique password.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your country of residence, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Object to certain processing activities.
- Data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format).
